STUDENT BLOG: New Blogger, Steven Weier

IMG_3207 copy (1)Hi! Having only come to Los Angeles to attend USC, I have grown more and more proud each year to be able to say that I am from the beautiful state of Washington! What am I doing here? The boring, short, first-week-of-every-semester answer is that I’m a junior studying Political Science and Economics and planning to attend law school. But really, there is so much more to the story!

Having studied abroad for a semester and two summers, a large part of being “here” at USC has been traveling the world to learn about and experience foreign cultures (and myself!) in incredible ways! While I’m here in LA, I balance schoolwork with volunteering, debate, and being an active member in USC’s Christ-Centered Fraternity, Alpha Gamma Omega (AGO), which has provided more community and opportunity for growth than I could ever have hoped for in anything I would find at college!

So much of what I’ve found at USC can’t really be expressed in informational pamphlets and admissions presentations, but it can (maybe?) be shared via blog posts! Well, I’ll at least try!
