Common App Is Live!
Guess what? The USC application is now available! As many of you know, USC uses the Common App exclusively and it went live yesterday. However, do not feel pressured to submit your application right away. Take time to craft an application that will best articulate your whole self. There is no admission advantage to submitting an application early; just be sure to meet the appropriate deadlines. Remember, you must apply by December 1st to be considered for USC Merit Scholarships. The final deadline to submit your application (unless you are applying towards a talent major) is January 15th; if you wait until this date to apply, you will not be considered for any merit-based scholarships but will still be considered for regular admission. As always, if you have any further questions, you may contact the general admission line at (213) 740-1111 or find your USC Admission Counselor.
First-Year Application Timeline:
December 1st – Deadline for USC Merit-Based Scholarship consideration (also the deadline for some talent majors)
January 15th – Final Application Deadline for first-year applicants
Late January – Scholarship notification
April 1st – All first-year decisions sent
May 1st – National Candidates Reply Date
