“Honors” at USC… Which Program is Right for Me?

              You’ve come this far—you’ve gotten accepted to USC! I’m sure the first thing on your mind now is how you can challenge yourself to the fullest extent during your four years as a Trojan. Ok, ok, maybe researching Honors Programs at USC is not the first thing on your to-do list (you’re busy applying for housing and ordering football tickets, right?) So, we thought we would bring the information to you! Here are the details on two honors options at USC: Freshman Science Honors and Thematic Option.

It’s finally summer here at USC, which means our campus is quieter, the days are warmer, and our office is wrapping up making transfer decisions and gearing up and preparing for next year. Since we have a little more free time on our hands, we thought now would be a great opportunity to get to know our blog readers a bit better! Transfer Decisions

In about a week we will be contacting transfer applicants regarding their application to USC. At this point a handful of students have heard of their admission. However, the majority of transfer applicants will receive a decision or a request for more information on or by June 1st.

May 1 Is Less Than A Week Away!

We’re excited to host our Admitted Student Reception this Saturday, April 28th! We will be on campus all day Saturday hosting an open house event for admitted freshmen. The program will give students and their families the opportunity to take a closer look at USC one last time before making their final decisions.

Picking the right college for YOU

It’s the middle of April, which means high school students across the country have less than 2 weeks to make a huge decision: which college to attend for the next four years. I remember quite vividly how I felt during the month of April when I was a high school senior—panic, excitement, pressure, fear of the unknown, and anticipation and hope for the future. I spent weeks agonizing over different options and comparing colleges that, in hindsight, are like comparing apples and oranges.
