Take a Quaran-Tour of USC!

These last few days, weeks, months – what day is it really? – have been very difficult on us all.  Many college trips and tours were cancelled due to our global health situation, but many are still making the most of this quarantine and are travelling via the internet.  Touring virtually.  Still making the most of what the globe has to offer online.  You can now take virtual tours of famous museums or watch YouTube vlogs of well-known tourist attractions.  Basically, you can travel while sitting in your PJs on your couch at home!  COVID-19 has changed our reality for a while but it hasn’t put a stop to us and it hasn’t stopped us here at USC.  Although we did have to adjust a bit, we still wanted you, our prospective students, to experience our beautiful campus.  So, come visit us virtually!  PJs are welcome!

We offer a number of virtual programs and tours to learn about USC. For starters, we offer Live Virtual Campus Tours on Mondays and Fridays at 2pm PT and Thursdays at 9:30 am PT (times may vary throughout the summer).  The Virtual Campus Tours are an hour and are led by student tour guides who are extremely knowledgeable about the history, academics, and student life at USC.  If you have further questions for our tour guides about campus or being a USC student, consider attending the Student Ambassador Panel on Mondays and Friday at 3:30pm PT and Thursdays at 11am PT (times may vary throughout the summer).  Our tour guides are the best resource when it comes to questions about student life, as they are current USC students.  We also recommend pairing the Virtual Campus Tours with one of our admission presentations.

The First-Year Information Sessions are offered Mondays and Tuesdays at 3pm PT and Thursdays at 8am PT (times may vary throughout the summer).  This program is recommended for high school juniors and seniors. The program consists of an hour presentation conducted by one of our admission counselors, where we will cover an introduction to USC, the application, and financial aid process.

For our prospective transfer students, the Transfer Information Session also consists of an hour presentation conducted by one of our admission counselors, where we will cover an introduction to USC, an in-depth look into the transfer application, and the financial aid process.  It is offered Fridays at 11am PT (times may vary throughout the summer).

Finally, you can meet with the academic unit of your choice in our Meet the Academic Departments sessions.  Depending on your intended major, you would meet with a representative from that area of study, and they would cover all there is to know about their programs and admission.  The times and dates of the session vary by department.

Although we are disappointed that we are not able to hold these programs and tours in-person, we are excited that we are able to make them available to you virtually.  Register for one of our programs and tours here.  The program calendar will be updated throughout the summer so the times of the virtual programs may vary.  For the most up-to-date information about how our university is responding to this unprecedented situation, keep an eye on USC’s COVID-19 website. It is updated regularly and is the official source for USC information about the disease and its impact on our university.  We really hope to see you on campus soon, but in the meantime, Fight On!
