We just finished finals week at USC, the week that most students look forward to all semester long. Well, it’s more like the week after finals that students are really looking forward to! Our students, staff, and faculty take a well-deserved break to celebrate the holidays and get ready for the spring semester.
Every year, it seems like there are certain recurring trends we see in the Quick Takes section of the application. Whether it’s a popular humanitarian issue or simply a favorite movie that seems to be every student’s favorite, it’s amazing the similarities we often find.
Recently I have been receiving a lot of questions about the required application components for Transfer Students. I thought it would be helpful to provide a quick overview.
Throughout the last week, we received thousands of applications and materials for our December 1 merit scholarship deadline. Curious about how all these materials magically show up in the appropriate file for me to read on a computer, I decided to do some investigating into our processing office. As a result, I bring you: The Early Life of an Application.
Yesterday was the December 1 deadline for merit scholarship consideration for first year applicants! It was a busy day of phone calls and receiving tons of application materials in the mail.
