Let Us Give Thanks

All of my favorite activities happen on Thanksgiving: spending time with your nearest and dearest, eating more than would be considered decent or even civilized by most, pretending to actually like football so you can get out of doing dishes, and—most importantly—taking time to reflect on what you are thankful for.

For high school seniors, the fall semester flies by pretty fast.  Between class work, extracurricular activities, and applying to colleges, there’s not much breathing room!  Thanksgiving break is the perfect time to take a step back and remember what—and WHO—you are grateful for.  We asked our tour guides and admission ambassadors to take a moment to show their appreciation for the people who got them here, and we hope their notes will inspire you to give thanks to the teachers, counselors, mentors, and family members who have done a lot (and will do a lot) to help you in the college process.

Happy Thanksgiving!
