Happy Holidays!

Season’s greetings from the USC Admission blog team! The Office of Undergraduate Admission staff will be out on holiday next week, and we will be returning on Tuesday, January 2. Until then, if you have any questions about applying to USC, you may want to check out usc.edu/askusc. This database has answers to many of students’ common questions and is accessible 24/7.

Additionally, in the holiday spirit, here are some admission reminders for the next few weeks!

The Ghost of Application Past

As fall semesters draw to a close, first-year applicants must submit their mid-year grade report. Students can arrange for the delivery of their updated transcript to satisfy this requirement, or they can self-report their grades through the you.usc.edu application portal.

The Ghost of Application Present

The transfer application deadline for most majors at USC is not until February 1, but the winter break is a great time for students to work on their application! As soon as your fall grades are finalized, you have everything you need to submit your transfer application.

The Ghost of Application Future

For both first-year and transfer applicants, spring grades are very important. Make sure to keep up your strong performance throughout the school year, and avoid contracting senioritis! Also, keep a look out for notifications regarding first-year scholarship consideration – on-campus interview invitations will go out in late January.

Have a wonderful holiday season! We’ll see you in 2018.
